Using the most modern system of manufacturing springs, Barber Manufacturing takes pride in knowing that there is no finer sinuous wire on the market.

Working closely with our wire suppliers, Barber has engineered and manufactured a sinuous wire product that has passed every major furniture manufacturer’s stringent test it has been put through.

Our sinuous springs are offered in cut to length and continuous coils — to fit the requirements of any customer. (Pieces on right are shown with standard ends.)

In manufacturing its sinuous wire, Barber takes great care to ensure that all specifications forming the loops are accurate, giving a consistent feel. Large, medium and regular (small) sinuous springs can also be run in any radius from standard to completely flat, with no extra charge for variation from standard.

SINUOUS SPRINGS – SPECIAL DESIGN

Barber Manufacturing also offers a complete line of specially designed end treatments to meet the specific requirements of each customer.

V-Arc (V-Bend)

A sinuous spring that is designed to allow the spring to rise quicker from the frame rail. Available in medium, and regular (small) loop sizes.

D-End

Cut lengths can be manufactured with turned-down, drive-in ends (D-Ends) for insertion into wood frames. The D-Ends are then fastened in place with staples.

Available in medium and regular (small) loop sizes.

Z-Hook End

Cut lengths can be manufactured with Z-Hook ends. This type of end is often selected for use in tubular or angle-iron frames. All Z-Hook ends are self-fastening.

Joggle Ends

Joggle end sinuous springs were created to fasten directly into steel tubing or flat steel surfaces.

No clips or hooks are required.
